Hello Guys Welcome to Tamil Flight Simmer Channel This video is made from New Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 that launched recently The design of this simulator is really amazing compare to any other simulator so far Especially the scenery and real world 3D map are really impressive Then the aircraft interior and exterior are very realistic, have a look at that As you already saw in video, today we going to fly with Indigo Air Bus 320neo The specialty of this aircraft is can save up to 20% fuel consumption If you new to this channel please hit the subscribe button before jump into the video Okay let’s jump into the video Today we going to fly from Chennai (MAA) to Trichy (TRZ) This is our IFR flight plan This is our way points This is our vertical profile 12,000 feet is our cruising altitude for today Chennai International Airport we are located at gate no 8 Passengers check-in already Mean while we need to prepare the aircraft for boarding let’s go into the cockpit We are inside the cockpit now We need to start up the aircraft So first thing must turn on the battery power There are two battery switch, turn on both battery 1 & 2 Chennai ground indigo 005 IFR to Trichy ready to copy Indigo 005 cleared to Trichy airport as filed Take off runway 25 climb and maintain 10,000 feet Departure frequency is 118.9 squawk 0117 ATC approved our IFR flight plan Initial climb 10’000 feet And squawk 0117 Later we will set the squawk Let’s on the fuel pump now Fuel pump left, center and right Next we turn on the external power as it is available External power turned on now Next we need to turn on the IRS system IRS means Inertial Reference System This is to identify the aircraft position Similar like the GPS in our mobile Loading baggage is in progress now Okay let’s start the APU But before that, let’s turn on the Air con system Let’s turn on the APU master switch Then let’s open up the APU monitoring page This is the APU monitoring page Alright let’s start the APU APU switch turned on Now we can monitor the APU status on the screen APU is starting now Exhaust Gas Temperature is increasing now And then the N will increase Once the N increased, we can receive the power supply and bleed air The bleed air is use for the air con and engine start up We will get the bleed air from the APU until we start the engine

Once the engine started we can receive the bleed air from both engine All other switches are not working for now, but they still improving So let’s wait and see I think the APU fully started up Yes, we receiving the power supply and bleed air from APU now Let’s turn on the bleed air valve now Once the bleed air valve opened, the air con system will become functional This is the bleed valve switch, Turn on already This is the bleed air from engine Bleed air from both engine Okay, bleed air valve is open now Let’s program the FMC now First we ensure the IRS position is aligned correctly Yes, Aligned correctly IRS 2, Yes, Aligned correctly IRS 3, Yes, Aligned correctly Let’s go to INIT page No ALT route, Flight Number 005 Latitude and Longitude is okay We skip the cost index cruising flight level is 12,000 feet This is the temperature at 12,000 feet, -9°C Let’s go to INIT 2 This page is for fuel calculation On top of that we have zero fuel weight and zero fuel center of gravity Center of gravity should be blow the wings Must be under the belly If not very hard to control the aircraft And also will lead to an accident Let’s key in the value 51.9 27.37 Like I said before, this page is use for fuel calculation For example, how much fuel needed for flying how much fuel needed for Taxi Consider all these factor and calculate the total fuel quantity need for the trip Let’s go to the take off page We have V1, Vr, V2 and the right side we have take off runway number 25 flap 1 for today Next is flex to temperature This is for thrust reduction let’s put 46 Engine out acceleration is 1680 feet Thrust reduction is at 1500 feet Transition altitude is 10’000 feet Next is V1, VR, V2 V1 is decision speed weather want to continue the take off or reject Once we reach this speed we should proceed for take off And could not reject the take off After that once reach the VR speed We can rotate and pitch up the nose Then once reaches the V2 Our aircraft can start to climb So these are the speed level during take off Next we go to flight plan This is our way points and airways In other simulator we need to write the flight plan ourselves But in this simulator, already come with flight plan So this will helpful for beginners This is our estimated arrival zulu time This is our flight level in each locations Alright, the flight plan looks good Next, we go to the Radio Nav page We don’t use VOR for today ILS frequency is correct We going to land at the runway 27 in Trichy So this is the ILS frequency for runway 27 The runway course angles is 265° So runway 27 is the rounded up value of 265° course angles Let’s set the squawk number Our squawk number for today is 0117

Okay, Already set by itself This squawk number is our transmission identification code Our flight information such as flight level and air speed All these information will transmitted to the ATC So they can monitor our aircraft position always Okay, let’s check our flight plan on the Navigation Display map There should not be any discontinuity on the map Must have the continuity ion the map The green line should be joined Alright, All joined We check on the map again This is Chennai airport Departure from runway 25 Come to Kanchipuram Then come to Villupuram Followed by Virudhachalam Then Ariyalur and Thiruvaiyar Make right turn near to Thanjavur Then finally land at Trichy This is Thanjavur Airport Boarding completed, so now we start push back Okay, Let’s start the engine now Before we do that, open up the engine monitoring page on the ECAM This is the engine monitoring page on the ECAM Let’t turn on the ignition switch now Starting engine number 2 Engine 2 starting up As I said before during APU start up Exhaust Gas Temperature will increase first Then the N1 will increase slowly After that the engine will start up fully Engine 2 to start up already Let’s start the engine 1 now Engine 1 starting now Turn the ignition switch to normal

Turn on Taxi light Set flap 1 This is the flap See how the wing is folding Flight control already checked and alright Now set the Initial climb to 10,000 feet Alright we are ready for Taxi into runway 25 Okay we are cleared for Take off Let’s on the landing lights Let’s on the runway light Taxi light goes to Take off off the APU We can off it once the engine started, but I forget to off We are now lining up on runway 25 Alright, Line up already Let’s turn on the strobe light We going to take off now Firstly apply 50% thrust The both engine must stabilize If stable then can set the take off power 50% applied Both engine are stable now Now we set full thrust Full thrust applied Take off power set Now we should monitor the air speed Reached V1 Rotate and nose up Reached VR Our aircraft cab climb now positive climb get up Gear up already

Reached 2000 feet Let’s turn on the auto pilot now Auto pilot on Now aircraft will fly by itself as per our flight plan on the FMC Retract flaps As our initial climb is 10;000 feet So we climbing straight to 10’000 feet now We reached 12’000 feet now And cruising now Reached Kanchipuram Now we heading to Tindivanam, Viluppuram then Virudhachalam Way point near to Virudhachalam 66 nautical mile to Virudhachalam This is our ground speed and true air speed Cruising at 330 nautical mile per hour Let’s increase the speed okay speed increase Can not exceed 340 nautical mile per hour 350 NM is the max in this flight level Because there is some limitation And also we must fly below the sound speed Let’s have a look, this is the sound speed, usually call MACH speed MACH 1 is the speed of sound Now we flying at 0.62 MACH speed So 40% below the MACH speed We already reached Virudhachalam, We will start descent very soon

look at the map, we heading to thiruvaiyar now We have got Clarence until here We will start descent now, descent to 3000 feet Let’s turn on the landing light and seat belt sign before start descent 3000 feet set Okay we start descent now We nearing Thanjavur now, let’s turn on the ILS ILS turned ON and received for runway 27 Let’s go to the ILS landing page The three magenta line need to be aligned Once aligned, we are aligned with runway course angle Descent to 2300 feet let’s set 2300 feet We already make right turn Let’s turn on the localiser This will help to align with the runway Look at the magenta line now, all aligned now This means we aligned with the runway angle Going to final approach Let’s reduce the speed to 140 knots

Let’s extend the flap to full Gear down already Runway visible now Once tower give us clearance for land, we can land then Let’s arm the spoilers Alright, we are cleared to land on runway 27 Aircraft stabilized for landing Reached 1000 feet and stabilized Once reach 500 feet, I will off disengage the auto pilot Reached 500, Let’s disengage the auto pilot Auto pilot off Landed at Trichy Vacating runway We should contact ground control now Off the landing light Welcome you all to Tiruchirappalli
