DAMAGE MIGHT BE WAY ABOVE — BUT THE TOWERS SHOULD BE PRETTY SAFE BECAUSE IT’S OUR COMMUNITY WE HAVE CONTRACTS WITH THEM THEY HAVE PLENTY OF SPACES THAT WE CAN USE IT AS HOUSING PURPOSES AND THAT’S ACTUALLY OVERALL CAN MAKE THAT KIND OF TRANSITION IF POSSIBLE >> GO TO ERNESTO THEN BACK TO ROBERT ERNESTO, WE CAN’T HEAR YOU CAN’T HEAR YOU AT ALL >> CAN YOU ACTIVATE CALLER ONE? OKAY GO AHEAD ERNESTO, GO AHEAD ERNESTO PLEASE TALK INTO YOUR PHONE CAN’T HEAR YOU >> I THINK CALLER ONE IS ME I’M ONLINE I COULDN’T GET AUDIO CONNECTION TODAY >> CAN SOMEBODY CALLER NECESSARY TOE GET HIS COMMENTS FOR US, PLEASE LET’S GO ON TO ROBERT >> TO RESPOND, THE TOWERS HAS FIVE UNITS THAT ARE FURNISHED THAT’S ALL THEY HAVE THEY’RE ALREADY IN DEMAND FROM UNITED IS DISCUSSING WITH THEM AS WELL IT’S NOT LIKE THE NUMBER OF FURNISHED UNITS IN THE TOWERS WOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR US WOULDN’T EVEN BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE BUILDING, THE FOUR PEOPLE WHO CALLED IN THIS MORNING IT’S NOT GOING TO BE REAL WORKABLE >> DO WE HAVE ERNESTO YET? DO WE HAVE HIS COMMENTS? ERNESTO, WE STILL CAN’T HEAR YOU CAN YOU CALL HIM GET HIS COMMENTS FOR US, PLEASE? >> CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? >> YEAH, GO AHEAD >> ALL RIGHT SORRY ABOUT THAT I JUST WANTED TO COMMENT A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PROGRAM ITSELF THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST LABOR INTENSIVE PROGRAMS THAT YOU HAVE FOR WHICH WE USE OUTSIDE SERVICES IT INVOLVES QUITE A BIT OF STAFF ING TIME AS YOU KNOW THE PROGRAM IS VERY — WE HAVE TO PROVIDE, WE’RE DEALING WITH INFORMATION TO RESIDENTS WAY AHEAD OF TIME ON THIS PROGRAM DAYS.AW ACTUALLY REQUIRES 15- BUT AS YOU KNOW THE MUTUAL HAS MADE IT EFFICIENT TO PROVIDE 30 DAYS NOTIFICATION TO THE RESIDENTS OF THIS PROGRAM WE ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO HELP PROTECT OUR BUILDINGS AND AS MUCH AS THE BOARD SCHEDULES THIS PROGRAM WE PROVIDE THREE WEEKS BEFORE, FIRST NOTICE GOES OUT 30 DAYS BEFORE THE PROGRAM THEN THREE WEEKS BEFORE WE START CALLING RESIDENTS TO ARRANGE FOR LANDSCAPING WHICH IS A WHOLE — I COULD TALK ABOUT THAT JUST BY ITSELF FOR A FEW MINUTES TWO WEEKS BEFORE FUMIGATION OCCURS, FUMIGATION COMPANY ACTUALLY MEETS ARE RESIDENTS IN PERSON AND GOES OVERALL THE CHEMICALS THAT ARE USED, ET CETERA MUTUAL DOES PROVIDE RESERVATIONS AT A HOTEL THEY’RE NOT REQUIRED TO DO THAT BUT THE MUTUAL DOES DO THAT WE ASSIST RESIDENTS ANY WAY WE CAN RELATIVE TO THE QUESTION OR COMMENTS THAT WERE MADE I JUST WANTED TO MENTION THAT BECAUSE OF THE NOTIFICATION, IS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR THE PROGRAM THERE IS NO WAY AT THIS POINT, AT THIS TIME THAT WE CAN RENOTIFY RESIDENTS, EVEN TO MOVE THEM INTO THE TOWERS — AT THIS POINT WE NOTIFY, WE PUT THEM INTO THE NOVEMBER-DECEMBER TIMEFRAME AND WE CANNOT FUMIGATE DURING THE FALL BECAUSE OF THE WIND

MOST SUCCESSFUL THING TO DO AT THIS POINT DO WANT TO CANCEL THE PROGRAM TO NEXT YEAR THE FUMIGATION.EDIATE NEED FOR- THEY MOVE VERY SLOWLY, BUT THEY MOVE SLOWLY, THERE IS NO PENDINS IMMEDIATELY THIS CAN BE DELAYED DELAY ONE YEAR, WILL NOT CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING WE WANT TO ADDRESS AT SOME POINT BUT IT CAN BE POSTPONED WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT — >> ANY OTHR COMMENTS? >> POSTPONE AND EVERYTHING ELSE BACKLOG OF OTHER THINGS FOR YOUR SCHEDULED FOR NEXT YEAR TO BE PROBABLY FURTHER EVEN BACKLOGGED , IS THAT GOING TO COMPOUND IT? >> GO AHEAD, ERNESTO >> RESIDENTS WILL COMPOUND A LITTLE BIT OF THE WORK IT WILL REQUIRE THAT WE DO A LITTLE BIT MORE WORK NEXT YEAR AND WE ALREADY — AT THIS POINT WE DON’T HAVE EXACTLY WHAT THE IMPACT WILL BE FOR US NEXT YEAR THAT IS CORRECT IT WILL COMPOUND THE PROBLEM >> ANY OTHER COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS? SHERYL, COULD YOU PLEASE READ THE MOTION WE CAN’T HEAR YOU >> I CAN READ BACK THE MOTION >> THANK YOU >> DIRECTOR, I MADE A MOTION TO POSTPONE FUMIGATION FOR THIS CALENDAR YEAR, IT WAS SECONDED >> OKAY >> I HAVE A QUESTION >> GO AHEAD >> ARE YOU GOING TO POSTPONE JUST THIS BUILDING OR THE ENTIRE FUMIGATION PROGRAM? >> THE ENTIRE PROGRAM >> GOOD TO KNOW >> MAKE THAT MENTION IN THE MOTION? >> UNLESS THERE’S ANY FURTHER COMMENTS OR OBJECTIONS WE’LL CONSIDER THIS UNANIMOUS CONSENT I DON’T SEE ANYBODY OBJECTING OR HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS ERNESTO, GO AHEAD MAKE YOUR PLANS ACCORDINGLY, THANK YOU >> THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT >> OKAY MOVING ON TO COMMITTEE REPORTS FINANCE COMMITTEE, DIRECTOR PEARLSTONE >> I’M GOING TO START MY REPORT BY DETERRING MY TIME TO DOUG GIBSON WHO ASKED TO MAKE SOME COMMENTS REGARDING FINANCE DOUG, GO AHEAD >> THANKS, JOHN MY FIRST TIME THROUGH THIS BUDGET PROCESS IS CERTAINLY YESTERDAY AN EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE I HAD CONCERNS ABOUT THE INCOME THAT WE ARE DEALING WITH FOR THIS YEAR BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS SUCH AN EXTRAORDINARY UPSIDE DOWN SITUATION WHICH WE’RE ALL AWARE OF I THINK THAT SOME OF THE INCOME THAT IS ANTICIPATED MAY BE NOT GOING TO BE THERE JUST BECAUSE OF ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE BEING DONE THAT’S MY MAJOR CONCERN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER THEN AS WE REVIEW ALL THE DIFFERENT THINGS AND INSURANCE IS CERTAINLY IMPORTANT, I HATE TO THINK THAT IF WE HAVE TO GO AHEAD WITH A VERY HIGH INSURANCE RATE THAT WE’RE GOING TO MAYBE LOSE SOME EMPHASIS ON AREAS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A GROUP I COME BACK TO THE LANDSCAPING LANDSCAPING NEEDS SOME IMPROVEMENT AND NEED SOME SUPPORT IF WE DON’T ADJUST TO THOSE TYPES OF NEEDS IN SPECIFIC AREAS THEN WE’RE GOING TO KIND OF BACKTRACK I REALLY THINK THAT WHAT — HAS BEEN VERY, VERY GOOD BUT I DON’T KNOW THAT WE’RE

DEALING WITH ACTUAL FIGURES BECAUSE FIGURES SEEM TO BE ONLY UP THROUGH MAY NOT EVEN THE JUNE FIGURES I’M JUST A LITTLE BIT CONCERNED IN THAT AREA I JUST OFFER AS CONCERN AND OBSERVATIONS ONLY >> THANK YOU CONCERN FOR ALL OF US WE HAVE A BUDGET MEETING WHERE WE’LL GO OVER DETAILS NEXT WEEK, A LOT OF BACK AND FORTH WE’LL CONTINUE ON THAT I’M GLAD YOU SAID WHAT YOU SAID I’VE BEEN SAYING EACH AND EVERY MONTH THAT WE HAD A CHALLENGING YEAR AHEAD OF US SOME ISSUES THAT NEEDED TO BE MANAGED, HOPEFUL THAT THAT MANAGEMENT IS STILL FUNDING — WE’LL JUST HAVE TO STAY IN CLOSE COMMUNICATION WITH OUR BOARD AND OUR RESIDENTS TO TRY TO FIND SOLUTIONS THAT CAN WORK NOT JUST THIS YEAR BUT LONG TERM TO TAKE AWAY WHAT DIRCTOR GIBSON SAID ENTIRE BALANCE REALLY IMPORTANT SERVICES VERSUS EXPENSES THAT OVERCOME CRISES, FINANCIAL ISSUES THAT WE HAVE TO FINANCE FOR YOU HAVE TO KNW I’VE BEEN LOOKING AT IT ALL YEAR SINCE LAST OCTOBER I’M HOPEFUL THAT WE’RE GOING TO GET SOME PARTICIPATION FROM STAFF AND OUR OTHER BOARD MEMBERS WITH THAT SAID LET’S GO SHOW WHERE WE ARE WITH THE CURRENT STATUS AS OF MAY 31st WE’RE A MONTH BEHIND BECAUSE OF HOW OUR ACCOUNTING SYSTEM DIFFICULT TO GENERATE TIMELY STATEMENTS RELATIVELY EARLY IN THE MONTH I DID CHECK SINCE THIS REPORT WAS PREPARED SO IN THIS CURRENT SLIDE ON PAGE ONE ITEM 13 IF YOU HAVE THE BOARD PACKET THIS SHOWS OVERVIEW OF OUR EXPENSES FROM ALL SOURCES WE’RE ON TARGET WITH THE BUDGET FEW CONCERNS THAT WERE MENTIONED ABOUT REVENUES, I DO WATCH THAT CAREFULLY WE TALKED ABOUT IT AT OUR SUPPLEMENTAL MEETING WITH THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT AND EVERYTHING IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AS FAR AS PROJECTED INCOME WE’RE NOT SEEING ANY CONCERNS, WE DON’T EXPECT TO SEE A BIT LOWER BUT NOT DRAMATICALLY SO FAR SO GOOD BUT DEFINITELY ANOTHER POINT BY DIRECTOR GIBSON THAT WE NEED TO WATCH DOING BETER THAN ANTICIPATED THAT IS MOST OF THAT REVENUE OUR EXPENSES WERE 11,600,000 FOR NET SURPLUS RIGHT NOW REVENUE OVER EXPENSES OF 3.4 MILLION I’LL PUT THAT IN CONTEXT TO THE REST OF THE SLIDE LET’S JUMP TO SLIDE TWO ON THIS SLIDE YOU CAN SEE WE BREAK OUT INFORMATION ABOUT OPERATIONS WHICH IS OUR NON- RESERVE FUNDS AND WHAT WE TRY TO DO AS A BOARD WORKING CLOSELY WITH STAFF, CUT AS MACHINE MANY NONESSENTIAL SERVICES, IN THAT THE LEVEL OF SERVICES NEEDED BUT TRY TO PINCH OUR CASH FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT MIGHT BE COMING AND FOR SIMPLY THINGS THAT ARE NOT HERE, INSURANCE MOST NOTABLY AT LEAST AS WE MOVE TOWARDS NEXT YEAR JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE FUNDS THAT ARE CONSERVED THAT WILL MAKE SURE WE MANAGE OUR FINANCES THE MOST RESPONSIBLY WHICH IS ALIGNED WITH WHAT WE EXPECTED TO SEE GOING THROUGH EACH MONTH AND EXPECT THAT TO CONTINUE FOR AS LONG AS WE HAVE TO CUT BACK TO COVID CHANGE AND STAFF CAN BE –NGS- SERVICE WILL BE RAMPED UP SO FAR SO GOOD ON OUR DEFENSIVE PROGRAM MOVING TO SLIDE THREE YOU CAN SEE I THINK THIS IS QUITE MEANINGFUL TO MOST PEOPLE YOU CAN SEE WHERE WE ARE VERSUS WHERE WE PROJECT THIS TIME OF YEAR BUDGET WAS PROCEED SELECTED TO HAVE $1 MILLION DEFICIT AS OF MAY 31 NOT EXACTLY HOW OUR BUDGET WORKS JUST USE IT FOR REFERENCE WE’RE CURRENTLY AT ACTUAL — THAT FIRST COLUMN OUR ACTUAL NET

SURPLUS OF 3.4 MILLION WE ARE AS WE SAID MAKING SURE THAT MONEY IS NOT BEING SPENT WITHOUT REALLY PURPOSES ATTACHED TO IT RIGHT NOW WE ARE CURRENTLY 4.5 MILLION OVER OUR PREDICTED BUDGET FOR THOSE THINKING THAT MONEY IS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE BY YEAR END, JUST APPLY TO NEXT YEAR, TO WHERE THIS WAS YOU KNOW THAT MOST OF OUR EXPENSES EVER TIED UP AT THE END OF THE YEAR WE WILL HAVE SOME EXCESS FUNDS BECAUSE OF OUR MEASURES, BUT CAN’T ASSME IT’S GOING TO GO ALL YEAR LONG THING WILL HAPPEN TOWARDS YEAR END ESPECIALLY IF COVID BACKS OFF THAT WE’LL EAT INTO INTO THIS SIGNIFICANT SURPLUS, BETTER TO HAVE IT, BE READY THAN TO NOT HAVE IT AND JUST NOT MANAGE IT CAREFULLY MOVING TO THE NEXT SLIDE YOU CAN SEE WHERE MOST OF THE FUNDS COME FROM THAT CREATE THIS VARIANCE FEEL FREE TO ASK OR WRITE US ABOUT THEM OUTSIDE SERVICES ARE MOST OF OUR RESERVE PROJECTS AND LARGER MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR PROJECT ALMOST $3 MILLION THAT WE ADDED TO OUR BUDGET SO FAR THAT NUMBER SHOULD BE FAIRLY STEADY TO GET INTO LATER IN THE YEAR MOVING DOWN OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM CHILD RIGHT NOW IS INSURANCE AND THAT IS IN A DEFICIT THAT IS GROWING EVERY MONTH AND THAT WAS EXPECTED, WE CERTAINLY OFFSET THAT FOR THIS YEAR SO THAT IS NOT GOING TO CREATE PROBLEMS FOR US BUT WE NOTICE THAT WE’RE FACE CAN A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE AND THAT IS WHERE THE FOCUS IN MY OPINION THE LAST DEADLINE I BELIEVE SEVERAL HAVE NOT JOINED THE PARTY ABOUT HOW WE’RE GOING TO MANAGE THIS FOR 2021 AND CLEARLY AND BEYOND DOESN’T SOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR A YEAR WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LONGER TERM SOLUTION AND I TOLD EVERYONE FIND THAT SOLUTION SO THOSE ARE THE REAL RED FLAGS WE HAVE OTHER CHARGES THAT ARE IN EXCESS WE’RE LOOKING AT THEM ALL NOTHING IS OF CONCERN TO US IN THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, FINANCE DEPARTMENT WE’LL KEEP AN EYE ON IT NOT SIGNFICANT RELATIVE TO THE SURPLUS MOVING ON TO SLIDE FIVE YOU LOOK AT BREAK DOWN OF NON ESSENTIAL REVENUES, TALK ABOUT IT EVERY MONTH, VERY MUCH IN LINE WITH PRIOR MONTHS ONCE AGAIN VERY POSITIVE RESULTS ON INVESTMENT INCOME SIGNIFICANT UNREALIZED GAIN THAT IS BECAUSE OF THE WAY INVESTMENT GOT CHANGED BUT THE TAKE AWAY IS ALL THIS NIGHTMARE GOING ON IN THE STOCK MARKET, GOOD AND BAD WENT WAY DOWN, COME BACK QUITE A BIT WE’VE STAYED AFLOAT CONSISTENTLY MADE MONEY I THINK THAT IS A GOOD DECSION A BIT LOWER THAN WE WOULD HAVE HOPED AGAIN OPERATIONS HURT THAT BECAUSE WE CAN’T DO ANYTHING RIGHT NOW WITH COVID OR VERY, VERY SCALED BACK DON’T EXPECT THAT TO DRAMATICALLY HURT OUR FINANCES THROUGH THE REST OF THE YEAR WE’LL HAVE THOSE BACK ON NEXT SLIDE, SLIDE SIX, TOTAL EXPENSES, LOOKING AT A BREAK DOWN WHERE YOU CAN SEE — THIS IS VERY MUCH LIKE PRIOR MONTHS MOST OF OUR EXPENSES ARE EMPLOYEE COMPENSATED, OUTSIDE SERVICES AGAIN LOT HAS NOT BEEN USED SO FAR AND THAT NUMBER DOES GET A LITTLE LARGER AS THE YEAR GOES ON THEN THE REST YOU CAN SEE UTILITIES WHICH IS A SIGNIFICANT CHUNK OF OUR EXPENSES LIGHTING PROJECT BRING THAT DOWN SLIGHTLY

MANAGING WATER, WE’RE TRYING APPROPRIATED EXPENDITURES FOR LACK OF BETTER TERM ALMOST $ 4 MILLION GARDEN VILLA FUND IS AT 78,000 WHICH IS APPROPRIATE FOR THAT BUDGET AND TOTAL IS ABOT 31.5 MILLION IN FUNDS AVAILABLE IN VARIOUS APPROPRIATION, IS THAT YOU SEE ON THE SLIDE MOVING ON NEXT SLIDE YOU CAN SEE IT SHOWS A LOT BETTER IN TERMS — THIS IS FUNDS AVAILABLE WITH RESERVES, OUR FUNDS THAT WE’RE USING FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES WELL ABOVE FIVE-YEAR AVERAGE HIGHEST AMOUNT LAST FIVE YEARS, THAT WILL NOT LAST IS MY HONEST OPINION BUT WE’RE DOING THE BEST WE CAN TO MAINTAIN OUR FIVE-YEAR AVERAGE OVER TIME BUT WE NEED TO HAVE CONSERVATIVE RIGHT NOW THAT STREET EXACTLY THE GAME PLAN THAT DESIGNATED EARLY IN THE YEAR, SOLIDIFIED ONCE COVID HIT AND BEING EXECUTED VERY WELL BY OUR STAFF AND OUR EXECUTION OF OPERATION SO FAR YOU CAN SEE SIGNIFICANT PLACE TO FUND YOU CAN SEE THE PIECE OF OVERALL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR VARIOUS USES GOOD FINANCIAL CONDITION WE HOPE TO BE, WE’RE FACING AN INSURANCE CRISIS, DON’T USE THAT WORD LOOSELY, INSURANCE CRISIS I’D LIKE OUR COMMUNITY TO UNDERSTAND THAT AND RESPOND TO THAT AND OUR BOARD TO COMMUNICATE ABOUT IT MAKE SURE WE DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO RESOLVE THIS CRISIS AND THAT WILL REALLY PUT US IN MUCH — I’M NOT SLEEPING COMFORT ABLY THERE FOR I’LL SHARE MY REPORT IF IT GOES TO THE NEXT SLIDE, SLIDE NINE, THE RESALE HISTORY YOU CAN SEE WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED, SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN PRIOR YEARS GOING INTO MAY MAY WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER I’M HAPPY TO REPORT THAT ANECDOTALLY IT DOES SEEM LIKE SALES ARE HOLDING STEADY MOVING INTO JUNE, HOPEFULLY THAT WILL RETURN PEOPLE ARE ACTIVE IN THE REAL ESTATE MARKET RIGHT NOW BUT PEOPLE ARE STILL INTERESTED, I DON’T SEE IT AS A CRISIS RATHER THAN — MAYBE WE’LL SEE THAT LATER IN THE YEAR I WILL STOP THERE TURN IT BACK OVER TO PRESIDENT PARSONS WHO USUALLY HAS OUR INFORMATION TO WRAP UP THE REPORT BY SAYING THAT WE HAVE THE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING OR MONTHLY MEETING AND AUGUST 4th , AT 1:30 WHICH I EXPECT TO BE A VIRTUAL MEETING THAT CONCLUDES MY MOTHERING OF THE REPORT >> THANK YOU STANDS AT 27.9% I’LL GO BACK TO DOUG WHO HAS A QUESTION FOR YOU, JOHN DOUG, WOULD YOU MENTION YOUR QUESTION, PLEASE >> EARLIER THIS YEAR WE PUT THE PROJECT LOG, WE PULLED BACK ALMOST $2 MILLON HOW DOES THAT STAND WITH ALL THE FIGURES THAT YOU’RE RUNNING RIGHT NOW, JOHN, IF YOU CAN? >> EVERYTHING I’M SEEING IS EXACTLY IN LINE WE’VE GOT ERNESTO AND THE M&C COMMITTEE COORDINATING ON THEIR PRIORITY OF EACH PROJECT THERE WAS A LIST THAT WAS DESIGNATED WHEN TWO MILLION WAS PUSHED ASIDE TO BE RESERVED ERNESTO I SEE IS ON HE MAY HAVE A COMMENT EVERYTHING I’M SEEING DOING EXACTLY WHAT WE’VE ADVISED HIM TO DO SO FAR SO GOOD ON THAT ANY EXCEPTION TO THAT, ERNESTO, IF YOU CAN COMMENT? >> IF I MAY HE IS CORRECT THE BOARD, 1,850,000 FROM THE VARIOUS PROGRAMS SPECIFICALLY, MOST OF THEM AS BEING ON HOLD FOR PAST FOUR MONTHS

WE ARE BEGINNING TO RESUME THAT WORK IN AUGUST RELATIVE TO THE FUNDS THEY’RE NOT BEING USED, THEY WILL NOT BE THEY WILL BE ALLOCATED.IS YEAR.- >> ROBERT? >> JUST TO ADD TO THAT SINCE WE JUST PUT THE FUMIGATION PROJECT ON HOLD FOR THIS YEAR, THE BALANCE IN THE FUMIGATION PROJECT IS 346,758 SO WE SHOULD BE MOVING THE BILK OF THAT ALSO OVER IN TO THAT SAVINGS PROGRAM >> IF I MAY, THAT’S CORRECT ROBERT, YOU ARE CORRECT WOULD LIKE TO DO OBVIOUSLY IS ADD THIS PROJECT TO THE LIST OF THE PROJECTS THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE DOING IN 2021 WE WILL NEED THAT FUNDING FOR FUMIGATION FOR 2021 FIGURES WE’VE PUT IN PRELIMINARY BUDGET DO NOT REFLECT THAT WE WILL AMEND THOSE FIGURES YOU’LL SEE THOSE WITH THE FUTURE VERSIONS OF THE BUDGET >> ANY OTHER COMMENTS?
